Born out of vulnerability and the lack of any queer masculine representation, DELICANCE aims to showcase queer masculinity by exploring how individuals hold themselves. This photoshoot is the first in a three-part series emphasizing that YOU can be vulnerable and masculine simultaneously. Authenticity holds no boundaries, and this shoot proves simply that; we are all humans living in a very complex world.

My project is about 2 things: understanding and vulnerability. It aims at spotlighting the raw experience of queer masculinity in all the forms it exists.

As someone who grew up more masculine, it took a while to feel confident in my gender expression and identity. I was not only glared at in every restroom, but I’ve been treated like the “man” in so many relationships. I hope this photoshoot proves to anyone struggling that confidence with queer masculinity is achievable. It is liberating. And tenderness can exist in masculinity, too.
